Tell me the Truth, or Turn off the TV

So I am trying to stop watching as much TV because I already have to much to do, and it just gets in the way. I succumb to the pressure today though and turned on the TV and it was on a preacher on TV (connor, the guy we usually see who has a texan accent) so he used one verse out of the living translation and continued to talk for like 10 minutes making claims about God and stuff using one verse that is from a bible that is not an accurate transaltion (it is a useful translation but not an accurate one). I am in AP english and everytime you make a claim, you have to back it up with at least 1 piece of evidence if not 2. This guy just made 10 claims with only one piece of evidence that was relevent to only 2 of them. I have decided that people should not make claims without at least 2 pieces of evidence. I am not watchig TV for a while.
