Well if you're going to whine about it...

This might not be the kind of thinking you wish to inspire but the first quote reminds me of this other one I read, not by C.S. Lewis, which is "life is a sexually transmitted disease." I don't really know how it reminded me of it, but it did.

In the one about the heart and the head, is the one that should be obeying the other the heart or the head...? I'm confused.

I have heard that quote before in biology and i think it is awesome because it is an abstract way to describe reality. It is stating that the heart should obey the mind.
