Amanda Harrison You're the One.

I am very happy that people commented 20 times on my other post but in an effort to divert those posts to something more relevant to the title here is the story. I was going to ask Amanda for a while by getting a box wrapping it up like a present but leaving out the bottom then putting a sign on it saying "Open Immediately." I would have Brittany (sorry but she is an actress) go up as a UPS person and devliver it and then I would be under it with a bow on my head and either a sign saying will you go to homecoming with me, or I would ask her. Well I have problems finding boxes that can contain my volume so that sort of failed and then I got another idea. Shawna said that I should put a note on her closet saying $68 Homecoming Dress, $ 20 Hair and Makeup, going to homecoming with Austin Mueller, Priceless. I thought that was kind of narcistic so I changed it to "going to homecoming with Amanda Harrison, priceless." I called around to a lot of her friends and got it worked out (yes her friends told her but it could not be avoided) and the problem is I got my car taken away for a day, long story. So I did it the next day but when I mentioned it to a couple of the girls at church they said that it wasn't very original so I Shawna gave me another idea with Rubber Duckies. So I was trying to find people to help me go ask her but everyone was busy so Sara Cole and I went to US Toys Construstion or something and bought rubber duckies and bath tub wall paint. I think the cashier lady thought we were crazy because or really horny because we kept on asking about bath products and sat on the floor planning things out. Then we went to Safeway and got 2 bags of Hugs candy. Then it took us a while but we finally worked out what we were going to do. On my way over to her house I had to drop by my house to pick up directions but I had forgotten to tell my parents that I was driving Sara Cole around so I had her lay down in the front seat while I ran in and grabbed the directions. It was really hard to find her house because it is the one part of highlands ranch I have never been in. I called her dad and got permission to come over while she was at lunch with her friends from churh. I had called Casy Monsees because I thought she might be with Amanda but she wasn't answering then I called Jessamyn Hughes and then she called Amanda and Casey got on the phone and I had told Jessa to tell someone to keep her till at least 2:10. Sara and I went over and her mom was cleaning the bathroom because she heard that someone was coming over to the bathroom. So we went upstairs and began writing the following on the wall of the shower with the bath tub paint. "Amanda Harrison You're the One, You make homecoming so much fun. Will you go with me to homecoming? Flip the ducks... Spell my name." (remind you of the rubber ducky song?) I had (Sara Cole had) written my name on the bottom of the Rubber Duckies so she had to spell it out to find out who had asked her. We decorated all around the words because it sort of looked like a murderer or The Shining, REDRUM! so after decorations it looked much happier. Her mom kept taking pictures which was cool because Amanda is a scrapebooker I guess. Then we covered her sink with hugs because Holly Stabler said she liked chocolate. That should be most of the story. I hope I get a lot of comments on this one too. Thank you all for being protective and I assure you Amanda would meet your very high guidelines. YAY!
